The location is REALLY great. You're right by the forum and the colosseum. the breakfast was very good. It had a perfect continental buffet.
The rooms felt old and outdated. They need a remodel! the lobby smelled musty. It wasn't inviting at all. the air conditioning didn't work well. It was like a sauna.

The air conditioning WAS woefully inadequate. The room was never cool which is not good in the height of summer. The shower had low pressure, so showers were long but cool

inadequate air conditioninglow shower pressure
The air conditioning was completely inadequate. The room was never cool enough, a REAL problem during the summer heat. I also found the shower pressure consistently low, so showers were long and not at all refreshing. These issues detracted from the overall experience.
